The weekend hobby time
Yesterday I decided to do something I didn’t do a long. I finally decided to begin painting the miniatures of my board game Hellboy. It is difficult to see the dark grey figures on the dark board. So I opened the box and pull out the first case with miniatures to prepare them for a painting. The first step is to inspect the miniatures and clean their surface from the extra pieces of a plastic with the sharp knife and the small files. The miniatures of Hellboy’s board game are very high quality and I needn’t to spend much time for their cleaning.
Then I started with washing them in warm water with a drop of dish washing gel. It needs to degrease their surface and clean from the remains of the oil using in the process of the casting miniatures. After washing, the miniatures have to dry. While they were drying I prepared the airbrush kit. Before I primed miniatures with spray. Spray primer has very strong smell and you can use it only out of your home. But with airbrush I can prime miniatures on my kitchen with acrylic prime which smells very nice, like vanilla.
For one hour I primed all miniatures from the one case and the next time I would try to paint some of them. I think I can do it the next weekend.
