The royal treat
I want to cook the one of the favourite dishes of the queen of Great Britan. It is just a simple scone. I learnt it from the Internet when accidentally find the article about the former chief of the queen. He told about his work on the queen's kitchen and he shares the recipe of the scones. He told that the queen always drinks tea at five o'clock and never miss it. He always cooked the scones to the royal tea ceremony. The queen likes to eat the scones with jam and soft cheese. It is a very simple recipe. You need just some flour, batter, one egg and some milk. And a couple of teaspoons of baking powder as well. Mix this well and roll the dough, then cut little circles. Bake it about fifteen minutes in the oven until the scones become golden and brown. You can cover the top of the scones with mixed yolk before baking. That adds some beauty for scones. The scone cut in middle and both half are spreading with jam, butter or soft cheese. You can eat it immediately or the next day.
