The Pyramids

One of the most famous Wonders of the World is the Egyptian pyramids. Once I could visit the valley of Giza about fifteen years ago.  Then I and my friend were resting in the hotels of Egypt on the seaside of the Red Sea.  We bought the weekly tour at the beginning of autumn to some Italian hotel. I remember I spent roughly fifteen thousand roubles total because the air ticket was paid by my work then.

To got the Pyramids we needed to get up very early because the way by bus took about five hours. It was a very hard trip, I didn’t get enough sleep then. We were accompanied by an armed guard. That linked with threats of the terroristic attack.  All of the tourist groups in Egypt had to have an armed guard.

We got to The Valley of Giza early morning. Honestly, I was waiting for more impressive feelings from the Pyramids. They seemed me too simple.  Maybe I expected to get too much before that visit.
