How about Perodua Bezza?

If you are looking for an affordable car, you might be considering between Proton Saga and Perodua Bezza 2019.

This time, we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Perodua Bezza to help you determine whether Bezza is right for you.

Perodua Bezza is the first car produced by Perodua. It directly competes with Proton Saga in the A sedan market.

Pros and cons of Perodua Bezza
The main advantage of Perodua Bezza is its excellent fuel efficiency. When we tested the latest Bezza earlier this year, our recorded fuel consumption was estimated to be 6.34 liters / 100 kilometers-beating Proton Saga (7.2 liters / 100 kilometers).

It should be noted that this figure is obtained with the idle start/stop device turned off because the function is very obvious and crude. If there is no problem with this, better fuel consumption data can be achieved.

In addition, the high-spec Bezza 1.3 AV is also the cheapest car in Malaysia, equipped with Perodua ASA 2.0 AEB.

But for drivers who value excellent driving, Perodua Bezza is not for you. Even if the suspension is retuned, the latest Bezza cannot bring you confidence like Saga. Her tall figure but small width does not help Bezza in this regard because it has less grip compared to Saga.

Another annoying thing is steering wheel adjustment. The Bezza steering wheel is not adjustable-like the Perodua Axia on which Bezza is based. Depending on the height, it is very difficult to obtain a comfortable sitting posture and obtain the ideal instrument view.

Which variant should I choose?
Among the 4 variants sold, we chose Bezza 1.3 X because it includes balance control (stability control) and grip (traction control).

Bezza 1.3 AV adds AEB, leather seat and touch screen host with reversing camera to the ASA 2.0 device we mentioned earlier. The added value of these equipment is 6,000 ringgit, bringing the price closer to 50,000 ringgit.

How much does it cost to maintain Perodua Bezza?
Within 5 years/100,000 kilometers, the car owner will have to provide 3,149 ringgit to maintain Bezza 1.3, and if you order a more comprehensive Proodare Perodua package, you will need 4,131 ringgit.

If you do not subscribe to the ProCare package, your warranty will not be invalidated. However, it is recommended that customers perform this maintenance work to ensure that Perodua's condition is at an optimal level.
