Classification of Air pollutants

Air Pollution

Based on the air pollutants origin source, the classification of air pollutants has been done in two categories. One is the primary source of air pollutants and the second one is the secondary source of air pollutants.

The primary source of air pollutants are natural phenomenon sources like ash, dust, storm and other natural phenomena but because of natural causing phenomena, these sources are not as harmful as much secondary man-made artificial sources like harmful gases.

Sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and other harmful gases and infusing harmful foreign particles in the fresh natural air and making them toxic to breathe.

Our Ideal natural air composition is as below:

Nitrogen - 78%

Oxygen - 21%

Argon - 0.9%

Carbon dioxide - 0.04%

Neon - 0.0018%

Helium - 0.000524%

Methane - 0.000187%

Krypton - 0.000114%

But because of air pollution effects, this ideal composition of natural air is disturbing and air quality is very poor to breathe properly. Lungs related diseases like Asthama, Lung cancer, Lung infection are gradually increasing all over the world just because of poor air quality.

According to the report of the Guardian main cities of the world which are facing severe pollution effects are:

Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faisalabad, Faridabad, Bhiwadi, Noida, Patna, Hotan, Lucknow, Lahore, Beijing, Paris, London, New York, Melbourne

As per the above list, it is clear that India is dominating the county in air pollution so proper control should be taken from both the government and citizen side so that we can make our natural quality good enough to breathe properly.
