It is considered by some people that success indicates intelligence, while others reckon that there are other methods of measuring intelligence. From my point of view, person does not need to be intelligent in order to become successful.

Although intelligence help us accomplish success, its role is not so huge as many people could think. Because there are more essential factors which contribute to becoming successful. One of those factors is a presence of certain skills which could lead a person to desirable achievements. For instance, a non-intelligent one who easily gets on with numerous people can reach spectacular success compared to those with high level of intelligence without such skill. Furthermore, some intelligent ones may be unmotivated and even antisocial which significantly decrease the possibility of reaching success.

In addition, psychological state of one is more important than intelligence level. A confident, purposeful, motivated person have humongous chance to become successful whether he or she is clever or not. Because such people usually have certain purposes which they tend to reach. Moreover, your intelligence is not so useful while you have shyness, laziness and a lack of confidence.

Because people who are not able to properly behave in a community have very minor chances to become successful. For instance, clever businessman who cannot reach an agreement with investors is likely to fail his business. Therefore, psychological attitude of a person is more valuable rather than IQ scores.

In conclusion, person's intelligence is not measured by success because it is not so difficult for non-intelligent people to succeed if they have relevant proficiencies and strong determination. Nowadays, there are a lot of opportunities so anyone can become successful notwithstanding his or her intelligence level.
