It is considered by some people that e-books are the end of paper books, while others reckon that ordinary books will not be out of use whatsoever. From my point of view, although electronic ones will become the most common type of books, those which made out of papers will never be replaced.

E-books have all chances to replace paper ones. The main reason for that is their convenience of usage. E-books have touch screens and they provide a range of opportunities. For instance, if it is needed to go to certain page of a book, typing of relevant numbers on the display instantly directs one to desirable pages. Also it is effortless to highlight liked quotes as well as make personal bookmarks. Moreover, one e-book is able to contain thousands of books which makes it more mobile and convenient, respectively.

Nevertheless, paper books will not disappear. Although they are inferior to e-books in terms of mobility, paper ones are totally harmless. They do not emit blue light, which negatively affects health, as electronic ones do. In addition, according to researches, paper books allow readers to memorize information a lot better since reading ordinary ones enable almost all senses. In other words, smell, physically touching and even tasting of papers help assimilate information more strongly.

Finally, there is no doubt that e-books will be the most common type of books in the future. However, this does not mean that paper books are going to disappear. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people like me who prefer to read ordinary books despite obvious edges of electronic ones. Furthermore, while paper books are more efficient in terms of learning information, it is nearly impossible to totally replace them.

To conclude, in general e-books are more comfortable than those made out of papers, but ordinary books contribute to memorizing information more effective which shows an impossibility of their replacement.
