1 Creating a Group Project Using the UTasks Menu
Tap the Plus button in the bottom-right corner of the main screen and select «Add to group chat».
Select a Telegram group you'd like to join for collaboration.
Add UTasks to the group as a participant or assign the bot as an administrator to manage permissions.
For example, enable the bot to pin messages for quicker access to tasks.
To make things easier, pin a message in the chat with a Tasks button. This button provides direct access to the project's task list.
Now you're ready to assign tasks to group members and enhance your collaboration!
Group project appears in the project list for all group members.
By default, all participants can view all tasks within the group project.
2 Creating A Group Project Using Telegram's Standard Method Of Adding Group Members
Setting up a group project by adding a user to a Telegram group is simple with the standard group management features. Here’s how you can add UTasks to your group:
- Open the group where you want to add UTasks.
- Tap on the group icon to access its settings.
- Select the «Add Members» option.
- In the search bar, type @UTasksbot and add it to the group.
Your group is now set up as a group project!
Any group member can add UTasks into the Telegram group.
The group owner and administrators automatically become admins of the associated UTasks project.
Before creating tasks (via the widget or the Plus button), you can adjust project settings to fit your needs.
To remove a project, simply leave the associated group in Telegram.
