Uzbekistan GTL LLC Holds “Open Dialogue” Event Dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day

On December 9, in recognition of International Anti-Corruption Day and within the framework of the “Anti-Corruption Month,” Uzbekistan GTL LLC organized an Open Dialogue event aimed at strengthening transparency, integrity, and corporate ethics across the enterprise. The discussion focused on preventing corruption-related risks, ensuring operational transparency, and implementing modern compliance systems.

The event was opened by Ravshan Karabayev, First Deputy General Director of Uzbekistan GTL LLC. In his speech, he emphasized that combating corruption is essential for the enterprise’s sustainable operations, effective governance, and development of a trust-based corporate environment. He noted that every process and managerial decision at the enterprise must be guided by principles of transparency and responsibility.

Industry specialists presented insights into national anti-corruption policies, practical tools, and modern corporate compliance approaches. Representatives of the justice authorities and the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Department of “O‘zbekneftgaz” JSC highlighted the practical aspects of the ongoing national reforms, the prevention of conflicts of interest, compliance with professional ethics requirements, and the development of an uncompromising attitude toward corruption within the corporate environment.

Speakers from the Legal Department and the Human Resources Division shared recommendations on strengthening the anti-corruption culture, improving employees' legal awareness, and ensuring compliance with internal regulations. It was stressed that fighting corruption is not limited to control measures alone—it requires personal responsibility, ethical conduct, and commitment to integrity from every employee.

The event marked an important step toward advancing transparent governance, corporate ethics, and modern compliance practices at Uzbekistan GTL LLC.
