Efforts Unite in the Oil and Gas Sector
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the heads of the region’s largest oil and gas companies who visited Baku to participate in an international conference on digitalization, industrial safety, and procurement in the energy sector.
During the meeting, the President of Azerbaijan highlighted the dynamic development of strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the expansion of projects being implemented in this direction.
President Aliyev also noted that multilateral cooperation holds strategic significance in terms of implementing joint production and technological solutions. Special attention must be paid to preventing and eliminating technological accidents, as well as ensuring industrial safety in the energy sector.
During the discussion, opinions were exchanged on the prospects of cooperation in a new format between major oil and gas companies in the region. The parties noted that this process would not only strengthen economic ties but also contribute to the sustainable development of the oil and gas industry in the region.
In the afternoon, as part of the international conference, several important agreements were signed on digitalization, industrial safety, and the prevention of technological accidents in the oil and gas industry. These agreements will facilitate the adoption of modern technologies by companies and take cooperation to a new level.
