Supervisory Board Representatives Visit the Bukhara Oil Refinery
A visit of the representatives of the Supervisory Board of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” took place at the Bukhara Oil Refinery.
Independent members of the Supervisory Board — Mr. Alex Barry Melnikovich (USA) and Mr. Thomas Melvin Quigley (United Kingdom) — visited the refinery as part of their working trip to become acquainted with the plant’s production and technological operations. The main purpose of the visit was to study the refinery’s production capacity, modernization processes, and key development priorities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Particular attention was given to issues of industrial safety, occupational health, and sustainable development. It should be noted that the refinery is consistently implementing both current and long-term projects in the field of safety and environmental protection.
During the visit, the delegation received detailed information on the refinery’s key production indicators, environmental performance, and modern technological solutions being applied. The guests highly appreciated the refinery’s technological processes, noting their compliance with international standards and the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
