JV “Asia Trans Gas” LLC receives the first certificate of compliance with ISO 37301:2021 requirements in Uzbekistan, confirming its leadership in compliance management

The key event and achievement of Asia Trans Gas” in 2024 was the successful completion of the ISO 37301:2021 compliance management certification audit.

The international certification body CERT International organized an expert group to conduct a comprehensive and thorough assessment of the “Asia Trans Gas” compliance management system on site in strict accordance with certification procedures and, based on the audit results, confirmed that the compliance management system of JV “Asia Trans Gas” LLC fully complies with the requirements of ISO 37301:2021. Uzbekistan's first ISO 37301:2021 certificate of conformity was awarded to “Asia Trans Gas” on December 26, 2024. This is an important and responsible step for the company, confirming ATG's compliance with international standards and increasing the level of compliance management and compliance control risks management.

ISO 37301:2021, officially named "Compliance Management System - Requirements and guidelines for their application", is a Type A standard developed by the ISO/TC309 Technical Committee and issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April 2021. It is applicable to organizations of all types, sizes, natures, and industries worldwide. The standard is based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle and covers the entire process of creating, operating, maintaining and improving a compliance management system. Its main purpose is to help organizations establish effective compliance management systems, ensure effective control of compliance-related risks, and strengthen capacity in compliance and ethical business practices.

“Asia Trans Gas” has always attached great importance to legal management and compliance. This year, “Asia Trans Gas” established a working group on the compliance management system and developed the necessary compliance documents, including the Compliance Policy and the Company's Context. The Company also appointed regulatory compliance officers, emphasized the importance of management commitment, strengthened regulatory compliance communication channels, and conducted employee training to strengthen the regulatory compliance system.

The certification not only confirms “Asia Trans Gas”'s commitment to meeting regulatory compliance obligations, including laws, regulations, industry codes, business practices, and standards, but also demonstrates the company's ability to continually improve its compliance management system in response to changes in the organization's business environment.
