Aleo transactions

In Aleo, a unit of state is called a record. Recordings are encrypted by default and cannot be viewed by anyone other than the owner

Records are created and consumed on the network through transactions, which themselves can be up to 50 hops long. Each transition causes the old record to be used and a new one to be created.

Transactions can also contain natural execution instructions. That is, AVM bytecode for launching validators publicly (similar to Ethereum).
