The latest Nissan Navara glider looks more masculine

Jakarta - Nissan launched a modified Nissan Navara double cabin pickup for its third generation. Nissan Navara now looks more macho.

Nissan has overhauled the Nissan Navara. Now, the dual cabin pickup has received some appearance updates, technology and security features.

This is the first overhaul in six years since the third generation was launched in 2014. Nissan officially deleted the middle name of np300 in its official communication, reflecting changes that have taken place in some markets.

Nissan Navara now has a large interlocking grille. It consists of three mesh rods, partly surrounded by a chrome frame, with the name Navara chosen in capital letters at the top. The new cubic four projector LED headlights and C-shaped daytime running lights add a bolder look.

The front bumper has also been modified. It's now a cross with a vertical air inlet and a large anti skateboard underneath. The valve cover is raised higher and has a protuberance in the center, which adds a muscular feel to this dual cabin pickup.

Go to the rear of the new Navara and you'll find led taillights with the same C-shaped graphics, improved back door design, and Navara inscriptions. The sturdy rear bumper has a built-in ladder for easier access to the rear body. Depending on the region, the pickup also has a larger body with an integrated fixed hook.

Nissan also introduced the pro-4x Navara, which looks cooler. These include wheel arch extensions and signs, grille, door handles, mirrors, roof rack and dark side steps. The wheels are 17 inches long but black coated and have all terrain tires.

Internally, the new Nissan Navara is roughly the same as the previous Navara, except for some technical upgrades. The multi information display on the instrument cluster is now a larger, high-resolution seven-inch screen. The Nissan Navara is also equipped with a Nissan connect entertainment system with an eight-inch touch screen and apple CarPlay features. The number of USB ports has also increased and includes a USB-c port on the front.

Comfort has also been improved by the use of improved acoustic and acoustic glass in the windshield and front window glass. Rear seat passengers benefit from modified seats and cushions, as well as new armrests with integrated cup holders. Nissan Navara's new comfort features include rain sensors, wipers, auto folding mirrors and speed sensor door locks.

From a safety perspective, Nissan offers Navara several new active safety features, including automatic emergency braking, Lane exit warning with brake intervention, and blind spot monitoring. There is also a 360-degree camera system, equipped with moving object detection (MOD) and off-road mode, making it easier for the driver to drive in narrow spaces.

The problem engine has not been addressed in detail. However, Nissan Navara is likely to use the ys23 2.3-liter turbo four-cylinder diesel engine with 188 HP power at 3750 rpm and 450 nm torque at 1500-2500 rpm.
