Peugeot has four new models, namely, Peugeot 3008 SUV Active Plus(RM138573.52), 3008 SUV Allure Plus(RM155236.66), 5008 SUV Active Plus(RM147808.60) and 5008 SUV Allure Plus(RM169931.90). These 4 new locally assembled (CKD) cars are eligible for full sales tax exemption.
PSA (PSA Peugeot-Citroen of France) acquired the Naza Automotive Manufacturing(NAM) assembly plant in Kedah Canton in 2018. The move also makes the assembly plant Peugeot's car manufacturing hub in the ASEAN region. In 2019, the factory will mass-produce Peugeot 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV Made in Malaysia. While exporting overseas, the factory will also offer The Peugeot 3008 SUV and 5008 SUV at more favorable prices to the Malaysian people.
