Guide on YouTube

YouTube is one of the most powerful platforms for increasing awareness, engagement and impact of music in the charts. Views of official music videos (MV) directly affect Billboard charts, YouTube charts and overall digital presence.

When you broadcast on YouTube, the order of viewing content is critical. The platform evaluates your behavior and classifies views. If you follow the YouTube rules, video views are more likely not to be filtered.

First broadcast

  • Log in to your YouTube account on the website or in the app.
  • Find the name of the song manually to increase its chances of getting into the trends. * Set the video quality to 720p or higher.
  • The volume of the video on YouTube should be 70% or higher (you can turn off the sound on the device itself or use headphones).
  • View the entire clip without stopping it, rewinding or changing the playback speed.
  • Interact with the video: put likes, leave comments.
  • Share the video on social networks and copy the link.

Follow-up broadcasts

  • Do not miss advertising, especially during the first 24 hours.
  • Do not use ad blockers, incognito mode or VPN.
  • Do not use background playback and picture-in-picture mode (views may not be taken into account).
  • Avoid spam in comments and excessive use of emojis.
  • Do not repeat the clip immediately after it ends.
  • Watch 3-5 videos from different channels between broadcasts (the duration of the video should be in the range of 2-5 minutes).

Recommended fillers

  • Performances/fancams of music shows.
  • XLOV interview.
  • Fan videos from live performances.

Playlists

  • Manual streaming should be your priority.
  • Avoid using playlists in the first 24 hours after release.
  • Create your own playlists lasting 2-4 hours - day and 8-9 hours - night.
  • Do not use the same playlists every time.
  • When the playlist ends: choose another one instead of repeating it.

Maximum number of accounts - 6 per IP (as in the family tariff).

Do not stream in different tabs of the same browser or different browsers on the same device.

Use other devices and cellular data instead of Wi-Fi.

Do not play the same playlist on all accounts at the same time.

You can also promote XLOV and their songs using YouTube Shorts

  • Like, leave comments and share official Shorts XLOV to increase their visibility in the recommendation feed.
  • Use relevant hashtags so that YouTube algorithms can recommend XLOV content to more users.
  • Participate in XLOV music challenges or create your own based on their songs.
  • Share fragments of performances, clips or dance practices using the original XLOV sounds.
  • Create reactions to XLOV songs and clips in Shorts format. These videos can go viral and attract new fans.
