Music Show Criteria: Physicals

Physicals refer to album sales. Every music show has physicals as part of their criteria. It has an average weighting of 10.72%.

There are 2 charts that are used to determine physical scores on music shows:

  • Hanteo Album Chart
  • Circle Album Chart

It is very important to purchase albums from stores that are reflected on both of these charts.

Hanteo Album Chart

Used by: Show Champion

The Hanteo Chart counts the number of album purchases made from stores that are certified members of the Hanteo Family.

For comebacks, the most important Hanteo statistics are:

  • 1st Day Sales: Album sales counted on the day of the album's release.
  • 1st Week Sales: Album sales counted in the first 7 days from the album's release.

The tracking week for Show Champion is Monday - Sunday. The later in the week the release date is, the shorter the time period is when album sales are counted for that week, and the more important it is that album sales are counted as early as possible. Our aim is to maximise our 1st week sales and to have a huge portion of those sales be 1st day sales.

When buying from in-person stores, sales are counted immediately when the album is purchased.

When buying from online stores, sales are counted when the album is shipped out.

No shipping occurs on Saturday and Sunday in Korea.

Buying albums from an offline store is favorable since sales are guaranteed to count on the day of purchase.

However, if you do not live near an offline Hanteo Family store and can only buy albums online, it is recommended that you pre-order your albums as early as possible so that they are more likely to ship earlier. You can also a proxy service or join a reliable group order.

Circle Album Chart

Used by: M Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo

The Circle Album Chart counts the number of albums that have been shipped from the manufacturer to distributors/stores.

Even though the Circle Album Chart doesn't count the actual number of sales, the best way for EVOL to improve XLOV's performance on this chart is still to pre-order and purchase albums from stores that are reflected on the Circle Charts. Doing these things show demand for the product and will hopefully result in more albums being manufactured and shipped to distributors.

The weekly Circle Album Chart is published every Thursday at 11am KST. The tracking week is from Sunday 12pm - the following Sunday 11:59am.

  • The minimum donation target amount is 5,000,000 FP.
  • Deadline: 12pm KST on the 6th day after the album release.

Summary: How to help increase XLOV's physical score on music shows

  • Only purchase albums from stores that reflect their sales on both Hanteo AND Circle charts. You should be able to find certification on the store's website.
