Information Security Manager, remote, 3500-4000$

The role holder has IT technical and Information Security Management background, interacts with members of the internal and customer security teams to provide high-quality security service, interacts with other delivery units and internal teams within information security projects and information security incidents coordination, leads information security projects and improve customer’s information security posture. The role holder manages security activities such as security risk management, security incident response, changes, policies, and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Management / Team working. Leads motivate and develop a security team with minimal supervision, to ensure effective team working, knowledge sharing and delivery of required output including operational KPI.
  • Schedules and leads the implementation of small to medium infrastructures and technical designs within Information Security scope including producing cost and timescale estimates and identifying risks.
  • Customer Relations. Establishes multiple relationships with senior-level customers and a range of managers across the organization to acts as a respected interface within Information
  • Technical Capability. Defines criteria for Information Security infrastructure design, guiding support teams, using technical and security expertise in order to resolve complex problems and deliver service improvements;
    Business Awareness. Understands the requirements of the customer’s business, the scope of the contracts.
  • Process. Defines, drives and improves information security-related processes. Influences problem escalation in critical situations to resolve customer issues.
    Problem Solving. Takes ownership and provides consultancy level expertise to resolve security issues/problems and security breaches, involving other specialists and third parties where necessary.
  • Service Level. Achieves service levels requirements defined in the contract and/or in maintaining the availability of the security services
    Internal Security. Follow information security requirements are described in the company's and customer's policies and documents. Report about identified information security incidents and vulnerabilities according to the established procedure. Organizational context. Complies with and works according to department or delivery units/projects policies and regulations that he/she belongs to (RASCI Matrix, delivery unit regulations);
  • Service delivery context Complies with and works according to accounts team governance and regulations that he/she is part of (RASCI Matrix, Standard Operating Model);
  • Continuous Service Improvement. Drive standardization and automation of security services. Understands and follows “LEAN” and “Sense & Respond” principles and methodology;
  • Professional Skills Development. Stays up to date with current and new security solutions, tools, methodologies, and techniques, encouraging their use within the business to promote continuous improvement of security services and capabilities;
    Point of contact: Acts as a key liaison between customer/account and in regards to Information Security topics/requests.
