Look closer at the metaverse streaming platform Animal Concerts

And again, musical hey for you. Last week we looked at how blockchain can help organize live concerts at the GIGCO example, and this now tries to understand how live events can go to the blockchain. Animal Concerts developers have already now what to do to fans get a unique experience, and artists/labels their incomes and new ways for monetization.

You can start DYOR from here (it's really interesting):

What is Animal Concerts

If you listen to artists from the Tier-1 label, to go to a live concert of your idol, you need to go to the nearest BigCity (and it can be really far away), not to mention that the pandemic complicated all the processes of mass events organization. That is why many progressive labels and events move to remote streams and the most advanced to virtual shows.

Animal Concerts is a platform that streams live events of famous artists just to metaverses. And they plan to stream in 2D and 3D with full VR support, so the new experience is guaranteed. The native token, NFTs, merch (real and virtual), and new ways of interaction between fans and artists in the virtual space are also there.

Activities

What can you do in Animal Concerts? Everything that labels and artists do in the real world. The platform offers a whole set of tools for the superstar's promotion and monetization:

Metaverse events - the main feature of Animal Concerts. The live concert is streaming to a virtual stage for any number of spectators. Because the geography of fans is not limited, this can potentially increase ticket sales hundreds of times.

NFTs - the platform will support several types of NFT: concert tickets to music tracks, art, game NFT, and even virtual merchandise for avatars. Of course, all of this will be on the open marketplace.

Community building - Animal Concerts aims to organize direct interaction between fans and superstars. Therefore, fans can share their feedback about concerts and buy/receive unique NFT, for example, to chat with their idol. This communication and merch and content should create extensive opportunities for building a solid virtual fan community.

If we summarize this, see something that looks like a meta-label that will "produce" the artist in virtual space, providing the tools to increase incomes and attract new fans. However, this "label" does not affect the vision and songs of the artist, leaving this part of the work to "real" colleagues.

Tokens

The platform economy is built on a native token - Animal Token (ANML). Token combines several functions:

Payments - use it to pay for tickets, NFT, and merchandise on the native marketplace;

Discount - for purchasing tickets on third-party services if you pay with ANML.

Rewards - tokens will also be a reward for the most enthusiastic fans.

Preferences - holders can get early or exclusive access to NFT, merchandise, and interaction with an artist.

Voting - ANML holders will be able to vote for changes to the site products and services.

Potentially - it's a rocket to the moon. The utility value of the token is very high. Clear that it needs not only for fundraising and users have many reasons for HOLD, not just for market speculation.

Roadmap

The Animal Concerts team has a non-standard roadmap concept. Instead of presenting the development as a plan with deadlines, they divided the processes into what is "done" and what is "in progress". The roadmap is represented work in two directions:

  • Marketing and promotion:
  • Technical development:

So It is not possible to see how far the team is behind the plan, but the list of works you can look at the screenshots above.

ANML tokenomics

  • Public - 25% on TGE, then 25% unlock every 2 months.

Project strength

Animal Concerts has a whole stack of powerful strengths that increase the chances of high-start. Here is the full set:

Verified team - the team includes concert events organizers, IT, and managers. It isn't easy to find a more advantageous combination for such a platform. On the site, you can find the socials of all team members. More here.

Active socials - powerful Twitter with engaging followers and high activity. There is also a Telegram channel for announcements with quite adequate followers numbers.

Powerful partners - Animal Concerts has a huge list of bakers (presented on the site) and media partners, including Business Insider, Cryptonews, and Bitcoin.com. In general, we see a tremendous financial and media foundation.

Collaboration with the idols - the platform has already closed cases with Alicia Keys and rappers Busta Rhymes and Future (stream of his concert). In 2022 Animal Concerts plans to organize more than 40 virtual concerts, including the EXAMPLE superstar.

In addition, ANML has utilitarian value and well-balanced, "classic" tokenomics built with "cheaper bought - longer hold". That increases the chances that the token price will not drop immediately on TGE.

Animal Concerts weakness

As for the weaknesses of the project, there are no technical developments results, and I mean absolutely no - the task of technical development of the project by the roadmap has the "in progress" status (team only selected the main blockchain).

We don't know how the platform will work in the technical aspect, how the team plans to add various blockchains, integrate with metaverses, and make VR and 3D translations. And all these things generate the main platform value.

In addition, token distribution is planned not with IDO but with IEO on top CEXs (for now, it's Gate only). It's not a lack, but not all have verified accounts on the exchanges, and CEXs often have jurisdiction restrictions for customer service.

Conclusions

Animal Concerts is a really interesting, unusual, and ambitious project. The developers want to "digitize" live concerts and develop blockchain tools with tokenization, NFT, and metaverses for stars and labels. That potentially opens great opportunities for artists and can create a unique fan experience in the virtual space. Animal Concerts has a strong team, powerful bakers, and partner's support. Also, there are successful collaborations and balanced tokenomics.

The main disadvantage is that the team does not have technical developments results yet, and a roadmap without deadlines, so it is unclear when we will see at least a test version of the platform.
