Infini Gods: hidden gem or another one-day P2E?
We always select Tier-1 projects for review, even if it's just another shooter or RPG on the blockchain. But it is not always possible to mark the P2E-project as a "scam" or "gem": some have weak tokenomics, some have a good idea with a bad realization, and sometimes the project's team does not inspire confidence.
Infini Gods are such a controversial project, as it has both a product demo and several serious shortcomings. It is the case when you will need all DYOR skills and the ability to make your own informed decisions.
About Infini Gods
Infini Gods is a multiplatform game project in the Strategy genre that unites several mini-games into a single universe. In fact, they more look like different game modes, focused on different mechanics and various activities, than separate games. According to the developers, they took the best from Civilization, Clash of Clans, and Age of Empires:
The Infini Gods' universe is based on the myths and traditions of ancient Greece, Egypt, Scandinavia, and China. Players are encouraged to become one of the gods/creatures of a mythological pantheon. Game seasons and events are devoted to famous myths and legends, and players will be able to impact the story plot.
Games
Infini Merge - focused on building and adventure. Every day, players can explore a new unique level, inspired by the legends and characters of a certain myth. Users will be able to get inside-game followers and the mint new tokens.
They can use Followers to perform special actions. Each Elder God has a specific in-game ability that can be activated once per day. The Elder Gods can attract more followers and allow players to get more options and game styles.
Infini Towers - Players need to protect the "home" tower from monsters, explore the islands and use their resources to restore ancient monuments. Every day there will be unique islands with random resources. In general, there is something between a town builder and tower defense. You can also use followers from Infini Merge in this game.
Infini Isles - is a game about traveling the ancient world, exploring mysteriously lost islands, and protecting it from enemies. During the journey, you need to save heroes, search for treasure, fight for the island and look for new followers.
Infini Arena - PvP and PvE turn-based battles. Players will receive rewards and events for wins. To participate will need to stake your character. It is a new game, unavailable on the site and on the road map.
All these games united into a common Infini Realms universe. This concept allows players to share their resources regardless of which game they prefer. For example, the player can fight in the arena and exchange resources for others, that available only in the Isles mode.
Characters
Characters are a central element of the Infini Gods gameplay. Each character exists like NFT with specific characteristics. The characters are divided into classes:
Generation 0: Elder Gods. The five Elder Gods of four pantheons reign supreme over both gods and men. Older gods will have more possibilities to earn $INFINIGOLD.
Generation 1: Gods and Monsters. Tor, The Kraken, Hydra, Grendel, Osiris, Sutra, and Dragons of the Four Winds are inferior in strength to the Elder Gods, deities, and beings whose epic collisions define the world of myths. Gods and Monsters will be released with a random shortage. Some Gods and Monsters will be available in the game systems as a reward for the mint.
InfiniGrowth - The characters' skills grow daily, regardless of the game activity. Thus, every day the character gets +1 to a random skill. Different gods have different development patterns: some are more likely to develop strength, some speed, etc.
According to the developers, this should ensure the characters' uniqueness: even if the players crush 1000 Zeus, they will evolve differently. The truth is that the NFT value created in this way works is like "the first is the strongest".
In-game economics
The domestic economy is based on two types of assets:
The $INFINIGOLD token - is the primary Infini Gods governance token. The $INFINIGOLD owners will be able to participate in the game's development, vote on Seasons' storyline, and select artists to draw new illustrations. Developers promise more information in the future.
NFTs - every character in the mythological universe of InfiniGods: from the mighty Zeus to the fearless Odyssey and the humble satire, exists as an individually tracked NFT with a randomized growth pattern. SDK characters will be available in the Unity and Unreal Resource Store, which allow using Infini Gods characters in external games.
Also, there is InfiniPass - NFT VIP-pass, created to stimulate and encourage early users. Pass holders will get additional gaming and near-game benefits, such as whitelist participation, early access to games, content, and closed tournaments. Roadmap
Let's just say it's not the most detailed road map we've ever seen. The InfiniGods roadmap is divided into quarters from Q2 2022 to Q2 2023. For the second quarter, they plan:

The Strengths of Infini Gods
Tier 1 - investors - Pantera Capital and Animoca Brands give a big plus to the project. In addition, $9M on a seed round is a lot for a P2E of this level.
Product Demo - You can find gameplay videos and images on Twitter and the site. It's not a full gameplay demo, but it allows you to understand how the game will look. In addition, the closed beta version should be released soon.
A mesmerizing universe - a mythological-based game world can attract many players worldwide. The dynamic plot that is ruled by native token holders looks really great. Well, and it all looks beautiful.
Weaknesses of Infini Gods
No token and an incomplete gaming economy - no information about $INFINIGOLD distribution and earning, as about other in-game resources. Infini Gods are not a P2E but a standard browser strategy without these details.
Really weak socials - Twitter on 6.7K followers does not impress. Besides, according to Twitter Audits, only 55% of followers are real. Discord on 2.8K - also far from the top.
No technical details - it is unclear which blockchain Infini Gods will use and whether there will be an in-game marketplace.
The site - is clearly not at the top of web design. It is not a disadvantage, but for a team with deep experience in game design looks strange.

As we said, for Infini Gods you will need all the skills of DYOR. There is not much information about the project, and you need to read and scroll really long to get the value core. If you are unsure about the project's future - just follow social networks and wait for releases.
