Installation and configuration of a trading bot on Windows OS.

In this guide, you will find detailed instructions for installing, configuring, and launching a trading bot on Windows OS.

Create a new sub-account (under no circumstances should you connect the bot to an account that has previously had trades; otherwise, the bot will consider these trades in its favor and charge you our commission for payment).

Do not connect the bot to a copy trading account to avoid being banned from our side.

▎Setup Steps

▎1. Downloading the Bot

Go to Crypto_Resources_Bot(https://t.me/Crypto_Resources_bot) and click the Start button.

▎2. Choosing Algorithmic Trading

In the menu, select the AlgoTrading option.

▎3. Understanding Risks

Carefully read the "Risk Agreement." After that, choose an exchange for trading. By downloading the application, you assume all risks.

▎4. Downloading the Bot

Download the trading bot by selecting your operating system.

▎5. Saving the Archive

Follow the link to download and save the archive st_bot_win.zip to your computer.

▎6. Extracting the Archive

Extract the archive into a separate folder.

▎7. Checking the Launch File

Attention! After extracting the archive, the file main.exe may disappear. If this happens, proceed to the next step.

▎8. Configuring Antivirus

Set up an exception for the folder with the extracted archive in your antivirus or Windows Defender. The encrypted source code of the program may raise suspicions with antivirus software.

▎9. Launching the Bot

Open the file main.exe located in the root of the folder.

▎10. Selecting Language

Upon first launching the bot, Russian may be enabled by default. Select English if necessary and restart the program.

▎11. Obtaining a Token

Follow the link in the program header to obtain your "token."

▎12. Saving the Token

Write down the token in a text editor. Do not close the text editor — you will need it later.

▎13. Creating an Individual TG Bot

Create an individual bot to manage the program by opening BotFather (https://t.me/botfather) and using the command /newbot to create a new bot. Write down the API key in a text editor.

▎14. Obtaining User ID

In the User Info Bot (https://t.me/userinfobot), obtain your Telegram_user_id and write it down in a text editor.

▎15. Entering Data into Settings

In the Telegram_bot Settings tab, enter your telegram_user_id and telegram_bot_api_key obtained from @botfather, then click the Save Settings button.

▎16. Checking Bot Status

After saving, in 30-60 seconds, the status line in the program will change to TG bot: - Bot running.

▎17. Starting the Telegram Bot

Open your Telegram bot created with @botFather and press the Start button. It should respond with a message.

▎18. Entering Activation Code

Click on the menu and select the command /help. Enter your activation code from step 12.

Important! Each time you open the link, the activation code is regenerated, and after regeneration, it needs to be re-entered in your bot.

▎19. Checking Bot Operation

After correctly entering all settings, you will see information in the upper corner of the program indicating that the bot is working correctly.

▎20. Setting Up API on Bybit Exchange

Set up trading via API on Bybit exchange:

• Either select an option from the API dropdown menu,

• Or go to API Management (https://www.bybit.com/app/user/api-management).

Attention! API keys for trading on a real balance and a test balance are different!

▎21. Creating a New API Key

Click the Create New Key button and select API keys created by the system.

▎22. Configuring the API Key

Enter the name of the API key and select Read and Write permissions. Set the necessary permissions and click Submit. Go through the "Security Verification" procedure and obtain your API Key and API Secret.

▎23. Entering Keys into Settings

Paste the key data into the settings, check the Demo mode box if the API keys are for a demo account, and check the Bot Activity box.

To switch to demo mode, select the Demo trading item. And only inside this item, request a test balance for trading, set up trading modes and issue API keys for demo

▎24. Checking Connection

Wait for 30 seconds. If the margin balance is displayed – everything is set up. The bot is running with basic setup search parameters and averaging strategies and is waiting for the first trade.
