Creating an Inline Task

You can assign tasks directly to any Telegram user without creating a group project. To do this, open a chat with the user, type @UTasksBot followed by a space, and then tap the «Create task or meeting» pop-up button.

A task card will pop up. Fill in the required fields (detailed instructions are provided in this article) and hit «Create» to finalize the task.

Note that the assignee is initially set as «Telegram Contact».
Until the user accepts the task, the assignee remains unspecified. A fitting analogy for this mechanism is a bearer check at a bank—anyone holding it can cash it.

Next, the interaction will switch back to the chat. Simply tap the button from UTasksBot in the conversation.

The task will be created in the chat, you can accept it by tapping the ‘Accept task’ button.

Note that both the assignee and the author can accept the task.

Moreover, if you forward a message with an unaccepted task to another user, they can click ‘Accept task’ and become the assignee.

Until the user accepts the task, the assignee is not instantiated

When finally the task is accepted it will be displayed in the ‘Inbox’.

At the same time, the task will become unavailable for acceptance by other users.

The execution of inline tasks follows the usual algorithm.

In addition you can watch a short video review on inline tasks in our channel.
